Travel authorization is rarely denied but in the unlikely event that your eTA application results in a “travel not authorized” outcome, your next best option is to obtain a visa for travel to Canada through a Canadian embassy or consulate.
There is no additional eTA review process or appeal for this outcome. Being denied for travel through the eTA application process does not mean that a travel visa will be rejected as well.
The only condition under which you can reapply for an eTA and receive an approval is if the conditions for the traveler have changed and the eTA application form data becomes different as a result.
It is important to understand that providing false or misleading information on an eTA application in an attempt to gain travel authorization will result in permanent ineligibility for travel to Canada through the eTA program.
