What is an eTA Visa?
An Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) is an online application that allows you to travel to Canada without a visa. The Government of Canada has made eTAs mandatory as a way to pre-screen all travelers coming into Canada. Please keep in mind that being approved for an eTA does not guarantee admission into Canada. Final authority to grant approval to the country is at the hands of the immigration officers that will interview you when you arrive in Canada.
