A Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) officer can refuse admission into Canada even when an eTA has been approved if they do not believe you meet or fulfill Canada’s entry requirements.

In the unlikely event that this occurs, the traveler will be returned to their country of origin or another country to which a traveler holds a round-trip ticket.

The same carrier that the traveler used upon arrival to the Canada will most likely be used in this case.
